So just go through channel list and check those with H? If that was the case, what might that mean? (The wife is using TV now, so won't be able to check until the morning).Comedy central is very strong tp try other H transponders maybe you have issues with H transponders?
If issues with H tp then it's failing lnb usually. So just go through channel list and check those with H? If that was the case, what might that mean? (The wife is using TV now, so won't be able to check until the morning).
I'll try it in the morning. Thanks.Try it in the solo2 and you will get your answer.
Yeh, I'll try the Solo2 in the morning. Cheers.your too quick! CGTN is DVB-S and Comedy is DVB-S2 just in case. I have checked on a uno4kse with OPEBH5.,4.1,007 and I get 85% on both so your 73% is good. SOLO2 better tuner.
On the borders or Northamptonshire/Cambridgeshire.where are you roughly, you only need a lnb change!!
Thought he wants a bigger dish?where are you roughly, you only need a lnb change!!
TBH, I don't mind throwing a few hundred £££ at it. I've had 15 years out of the current one. If I can get a bigger replacement, then I'll probably go for itThought he wants a bigger dish?
From what your saying, your LNB is fineHaving scanned 7e, I only pick up 19 channels - mostly radio - and all apart from the final one are V not H. The H one SNR fluctuates on opening but after a few seconds settles on around 75%.
I thought I'd scan 0.8w while I was at it. Picks up nearly 1000 channels and seems to be a mix of both H & V.
If LNB was the cause, would I likely struggle with H feeds across the board, or might it vary by satellite?
Awesome, thanks. I'll try that nextFrom what your saying, your LNB is fine
You could see if your dish alignment is good by doing the following probably best on your e2 box
Send the dish to 42e go into signal finder and nudge the dish east and west.
Do the same on 1 west and 30 west
If your signal improves doing this on any of those sat positions by more than a couple of percents the dish alignment is out by how much depends on what improvement you see nudging the dish.
42e - starts off SNR 79%, but if I nudge it 6 steps west, then I reach 88%From what your saying, your LNB is fine

Lol, yeh, never can manage to sleep in.You are up early ! Have you tried that channel on 7e that you could not get with other box? I tried 7e scan and as well and cant get much either.
Im willing to bet the pole the motor is mounted to is not perfectly plumb.42e - starts off SNR 79%, but if I nudge it 6 steps west, then I reach 88%
30w - most channels seem to be 98-100% SNR to begin, though I did find one starting at 90%. Nudging that E or W only makes it worse - drops by a couple of % after 2 nudges.
