Guide A guide to the best boxes for IPTV 2021

My Homatics 4K R Plus box arrived today, and I have to say, the picture quality is noticeably better than my 4K Firestick—sharper details and more vibrant colors. That said, the Firestick does have smoother channel transitions, whereas the Homatics box has a slight initial jitter. It’s a minor issue, though.

Pretty good boxes but would think hard to get in the uk
Yeah and they will also need setting up connected to a US server using a VPN hotspot on another device or VPN based router.
Thomson will probably release a version for Europe like they have for the other Onn 4k device but will be double the price.

Am going over early may , I bought a couple last year, so I could get a couple if anyone wants one, as long as am not stuck with them when I get back.
Don't want to piss on the parade!
But read on another forum that these boxes are now regionally locked to country use (USA).
May be untrue but worth considering/ checking before purchasing

Yeah you just vpn to US for setup...just don't get the UK apps iplayer etc unless can be sideloaded..nothing major.

I have two onn boxes the the basic and the 4K. I didn’t have to use a vpn to set them up in the uk and I haven’t blocked updates. They work fine atm anyway.
They released an update and I know the 4k version is now geo locked.
Not 100% sure about the cheaper version.
The new Plus device they have just released is also reportedly geo locked as well.
If you have that update and you factory reset the device you will find that you would need to connect the device to a US server using a hotspot on another device or connect to a VPN based router.
They are only to be used for US market now.
Your’s work because they were set up before the change.
You could factory reset to prove me wrong.

You can purchase the EU version which is more expensive.
