My sub ran out, so i went for the shiney new one and nothing works....tips, sourses, must do's, anyone?

Not sure what you mean nothing works?
What version are you using and have you added an express package or vendor package depending on what version you have installed?
Have you logged in your Debrid service on the Syncler app?
Latest stable version is v1.3.9.2
Latest beta version is v2.0.0.45
They are both available from the Syncler installer.
I don’t have stable version installed but beta is working.
The dev was performing server maintenance yesterday so it may have been down at some point.

No lots of the code has changed and a fresh install is needed.

I am sure that downloader code just downloads the latest avaliable version.

There are currently two versions that can be installed from the Syncler installer app, stable a beta and they have separate servers and are separate apps.
The Troypoint code is for the current stable version.
At some point the current stable will become unsupported and beta will become the new stable on the 23 May.

If you are using the Syncler installer app you have the option of the old stable or beta.
I have never used the downloader codes as I don’t use downloader.
The new stable will work differently and you need to setup an account with a username and password.
It also use QR codes when you do a fresh install that takes you to a login page.
Have you tried beta yet?

Kodi with a decent configured skin is better and there are no issues with Kodi and the community and support is way bigger.

To be honest just prefer my streamio get a fair bit of 4k dolby atmos links
