Have you seen the prices now LOL, just saw one on the internet at £269.00 Amazon buying options are high as well.

Its always the way when they start to open top packages.

You could get one for £99 last November on Amazon.

i thought these were 150 quid when they first came out, are they like £50 now? Just pulled the trigger on a v8 UHD, might not have if i had known this.

Has anyone a decent 28.2 channel list i tried one and it always brings up no signal, for 16e i only use the 5 sports so can add those to a group of it's own

If it's my list you tried, then you need to switch the lnb for 28.2e from Unicable II to Universal then you will get a signal

I haven't a clue who's list mate lol . I'm back home from a few days away working in about 2 hours i'm travelling now so i'll hit you up via tele....... we can speak then about it ;)

Because the box is awful mate, glad when it works but every time you press the standby button you don’t know what you gonna get from one day to the next unfortunately

Well I don't know what's with your box but mine takes seconds to come out of standby. That's provided you keep yours in standby with the clock on.

If your set to low power standby your box will boot, connect etc which takes a bit of time. If you set this to off your box will come out of standby instantly like above post.

Yeah my box is always on standby with clock showing but sometimes it can take up to 3 or so minutes to connect. Really weird

Sounds like low power standby is on change it to off and see if its better.

Thats not right mate, can not say what but its not what i see with mine.

Could be a duff setting. Save you channel list factory reset it reinstall your channel list and see how you go.

Hello, can someone help me with an EPG issue i have with the Viark Sat 4k. If i scan the channels from 28.2 i can successfully press the EPG button and the EPG will be populated. If i arrange my channels into favourites, then press EPG, it will only show 'now & next' and sometime not show anything at all. I have factory reset, completed a blind scan, added my favourites again but still no EPG. Any ideas or is this what happens when i arrange my channels into favourites?

You would be better off using a custommix.xml or favourites.xml to create your own bouquet.

I don't think there is a fix. What I did is... made a list of all the clearing paid channels and arranged them into an order I liked
Entertainment
Movies
Sports etc
I then put all other scanned scrambled channels under these channels incase they start to clear
I then deleted all free to air channels and then only scan for scrambled channels in future to see if anything new pops up as clearing
Then I used my zgemma and created a favourites tab in exactly the same order as the viark channel list
I then use zgemma on hdmi 1 to find what I want to watch then swith to hdmi 2 to pick the channel and watch it
Anything on free to air I still just watch on the zgemma
Massively long winded but it works for me and was well worth the effort in my opinion
