I noticed they were back late last night. National Geographic HD on 28.2e was also down before yesterday evening's football so they must've been fixing something.
I understand. My Sat 4K is a very slow and clunky box but gets all the best channels.
£50 box without a sub bud, pic quality is fine and beats the living crap out of the other viewing sources available.
i wouldnt say my Viark Sat 4k is either slow or clunky. Granted, the user interface isn't as good as an Engima 2 receiver but it takes maximum 5 seconds to find the channel i want then zap away. Once I have done that I can sit back and watch whatever channel I select. The interface becomes irrelevant then.
I'm not moaning about it , i'm just saying for me atm i can't get used to it so can see it maybe just sitting collecting dust so if i think that will be the case i'll probably stick it in the for sale lol. (I'm a tight git and hate wasting money if i don't use it fully)
They are not everyone's cup of tea basic compared to an E2 box
If you are finding it slow since the update to 1.14 have you been into the chmax settings on the receiver and disabled the channel name icons and reverted back to the old style epg?
Yep i used by solo 4k every morning mtv 80's before work but the viarks do have access to more premium channels.
Do you have a USB plugged in? this sometimes slows them down

i thought these were 150 quid when they first came out, are they like £50 now? Just pulled the trigger on a v8 UHD, might not have if i had known this.
No they are not £50.00 i think the what was ment was without access to the sub the boxes are really only a sub £50.00 box but with the premium server connection, they are valued at much more.
If there was no sub available, nobody would pay more than a tenner for 1 of these boxes.
