Zgemma Wooshbuild external USB HDD not recognised

Does the hdd caddy have its own power supply? The H2s may not have sufficient power from its usb port for it to be used otherwise

thanks for the quick repy yes it has its own power suply usb is blue so thing it is a 3.0 also i have a zgemma h52tc

it works fine if i power down then turn back on external caddy for usb but doesnt seem to work generally when i rebbot the actual zgmma box

They are more for other things,these are what i use if i need external hdd
