Satellite zgemma h7s need help setting up with openatv6.4

Hi,
Just got a new zgemma h7s ( I had a zgemma h2s before with openatv as well ) but I cannot transfer the sat.xml files with FTP as its saying that the IP address which is 192.168.0.203 is not secure. also when you do a service search for channels its not showing the Astra 28.2 satellite only showing 19.2 ku. Settings on the box were for Asia so maybe thats the problem, any help appreciated as I'm not up to speed with software,thanks

Open atv 6.4 is an outdated image flash the latest version.

Your on the wrong track you have to set tuners just like the H2S, assumIng you are in UK and connect aerial for freeview. Set up ABM same as H2S then do a scan and your good to go.

Its an old image but still works.

Thanks for replying.
I'm in Ireland and the IP address on the box 192.168.0.203 is not secure according to Filezilla and it cannot connect to it to transfer the Sat.Xml files for the channel search so how do I fix that problem?
I thought you had to use the Astro 28.2E satellite to get the UK/Sky channels but its only showing 19.2E-KU and 20.1E-KU and then All Satellites ( USALS).
Also the 500 GB hard drive that came with the box is showing Size : 484.40 GB and Free: 183.08 GB which doesn't leave much room for recordings ?
I'm bringing it back to the shop today and they are going to install OpenVix on it which they say will have the channels on it ?

Is the box brand new and does the HDD stick out at rear?

I set up zgemma h7's from scratch. Where did you buy it??? Was it new? That message from filezilla you can ignore anyway. To set it up from scratch, you download Openvix 6.7.010 to USB etc, 1. Select language. 2 set screen resolution. 3. set refresh to auto.4 configure sat tuners A & B so they say simple 28e and save. 5, say no to scan now. 6. Set up ABM the way you like it. 5. Set openepgtv. 5 Run ABM and job done.

NB make sure they load Openvix for you. When you get home you configure the aerail tuner to T select your region and scan. You can then add SAORVIEW to ABM etc.

The hdd should be empty or there are old recordings on it.

Just do this for me menu information about and read off image version and skin. Why did you do a scan yourself!!!😏

Skin is Blue HD ( 1280 x 720 ) v3.1 by rossi2000and simonez.
Image 6.3.004 ( release )
Python 3.11.0
Did a scan to get more channels ie: music channels etc.

Open EPG Importer should be in the plugin menu or EPG option in setup, select the sources you need and press yellow to import the EPG.

You can then set it up to update the EPG automatically to suit your needs.

with vix the best method is OpenTVEPGdownloader, menu setup epg opentvEPG downoader, enable yes, schedule scan auto, update interval 24, show in extensions yes, notifictaions no, green. exit out press blue see no 4, if epg emty you can use that for forced.

Vix 6.3 is old on 6.7 now and that sky blue skin is ancient and has bits missing but if you like it stick with it for now. With ABM configured correctly you can get this

as I was just going to post got distracted, you should not need crossepg and epgimporter is better but if your happy stick with it.

I was just adding if you configure ABM correctly you can get this layout. And you can have 4 images on box.

Make sure your hdd is properly formatted and is EXT4 and epg is going to it and not INTERNAL FLASH.
