Morning all,
I hope this post is in the correct section of the forum. If its not could an Admin please move it to the correct location. New-ish user on this forum, my apologies in advance if Ive posted in the wrong place.
Hoping you can help please....
Im running mytvonline3 version 12.1.20-4552-9d6ef0149, System version v11.3.5-r0xaea84bbe
Ive setup recording to a samba network share running on my ubuntu server. I can record to the share fine, however when I try to play it back it says, "Error - Cant play this video. Please try again later" with the exit button below the message.
If I record to the directly connected usb pen, it will playback without issue.
At first I thought it may be permissions on the foler and file - so I chmodded it with 777 resulting in the following permissions - drwxrwxrwx 6 iptv smbusers 6 Jan 20 08:55 Recordings - still no joy.
I have inter vlan firewall rules configured and I can confirm its not being blocked by these firewall rules ( I run a Ubiquiti UDM-SE router at home, networking is a hobby of mine away from devops engineering during the day :)
Im a bit stumped.
Anyone else hit this issue previously that could help advise please?
Thank you in advance for your help :)
