I thought Lisa Ashton gave a good account of herself last night she had Jan Deckker sweating a bit at the start of the tie. She threw some pretty good darts but faded as the tie went on.
 
yeah she was averaging 105 in the first set, then just tailed off, if she'd kept it up, she'd have won easy but his snarling and OTT celebrations seem to have rattled her...women players are going to have to get used to this if they're hoping to do anything in future comps against the men
 
Sadly women are too honest and just play the game in the manner its meant to be played they don’t go OTT to put their opponents off. I guess it could have been worse she could have been playing Gerwyn Price he takes winding up opponents to a new level :)
 
next few days of fixtures, we've already lost some big names, RVB, Simon Whitlock and Peter Wright all out...it's opened up the field a bit.

James Wade has apologised for his behaviour during and after his victory against Seigo Asada at the PDC Darts World Championships, saying he was "fighting a battle" with himself.

Wade, who won 3-2 in the second round, celebrated in his Japanese opponent's face after clinching the second set.

NATHAN ASPINALL dumped out Gerwyn Price, while Devon Petersen shocked Ian White on an incredible day of comebacks at the 2018/19 William Hill World Darts Championship.

Day Nine of the £2.5 million event saw the final eight second round matches take place at Alexandra Palace, with Grand Slam of Darts champion Price surrendering a 2-0 lead to former World Youth Champion Aspinall.

The opening two sets both went to last leg deciders, with Price edging both 3-2 to take a commanding 2-0 lead.

Set three also went the full five legs, but after Price missed the bullseye for a 3-0 victory, ProTour event winner Aspinall hit double 16 with his last dart in hand to get his first set on the board.

Growing in confidence, Aspinall hit a 140 checkout to take the third set 3-1, and then took the lead for the first time since the opening leg to go 1-0 up in the deciding set before reeling off the last two legs to secure a famous win
 
Gerwyn Price won't be shouting in anybodys face in this year's world darts championship now will he, I bet G.Anderson has a little smile on his face tho.
