Hi Mate, did you ever get a fix for this as I'm having the same problem

Hi mate no I didn't. In the download plugins it still says 1.050 and what ever you do it wont install. I'm running the 2s and I cant seem to activate my cws line now. Although I'm running a iptv sub now I would still like to run the cam for various other channels and the plus 1s. I find it handy.

You say 1.050 doesn't install, what does it do please?

Execution message comes up and is gone in half a second, no chance of reading it,then says execution complete.

The 2S is always the last to get an update and as a result is still WB v5.3 and uses the original cam importer. The version number of WB Config doesn't affect anything on the box especially cams. Have you spoken with your provider?

Hi woosh I realise that I was just replying to someone else with the same config issue. they were just asking if i got it sorted.Yeah my newcamd provider says theres nothing wrong with it. Tried it on ipabtv and couldn't get it to work. Don't like that anyway woosh is far better. The iptv sub runs far cleaner on woosh!!! But as for my cws line just cant get it to work. ive spent days on it and its really bugging me. Trying to get a line from somewhere to check there not lying to me but cant come across any. I wouldn't mind keeping the channels that are left cause the plus 1s are handy. Don't seem to get them on the iptv sub. Thanks for enquiring.

Hi folks, is there any way I can set my Star H2 to true factory settings. Have been playing around in an attempt to learn a bit and have messed it up a bit. Cannot scan cable tuner. Also have error when restarting box "getting event info failed" invalid null reference in method "iserviceHandlerPtr_info, argument 2 of type"eserviceReference const &" error. I have tried reflashing image to wooshbuild but cannot set up cable as I originally had running ok. When it boots after WB reflash I am still seeing "IPAB" splash screen from IPab flash from a while back. I then see "getting event info failed" etc....Thanks.

A true factory reset is flashing a clean version of, in the case, OpenATV

You will see the OpenATV installation wizard. It will rid you of the ipab splash screen too and reset it to OpenATV.

Reflashed with OpenATV 6 to get a clean starting point then flashing WB 5 and using my known setup method for cable I am still shown error "getting event info failed" invalid null reference in method "iserviceHandlerPtr_info, argument 2 of type"eserviceReference const &" every time I restart the box. No EPG working no channels to view.. Any ideas? Probably an openatv question really but asking here anyway..Thanks.

Delete all of your bouquets and try again. This is normally a tuner thing, I say thing as I am not sure how it is caused.

When removing plugins (bootlogoswapper, skins, iptv player) on a H2s, once box reboots it loops from about 50 through to 75 and I have to reflash it, anyone else have this problem?

Are there system plugins that should not be removed that cause the boot process to not complete?

I was using the slyk hd skin and removing the sky q and matrix hd skin at the time

Usually when the box gets stuck in a bootloop like that something has gone wrong with the skin. Removing matrix is kind of self defeating as when you run software updates it usually gets put back on (been meaning to try and work out which update reads it but not got round to it). Also when you remove the matrix skin it don't remove the configuration plugin which needs to be removed manually. When uninstalling stuff I would advise doing 1 thing at a time so if things go wrong you can try and backtrack to work out what happened.

Thanks for the info mate, I think I'll just leave them alone, I was hoping o improve iptv performance by removing any non essential applications but it seems it could be more problematical than I thought.

Ive just tried to make this happen. I didnt have the slyk hd so I installed it from the dropbox, made it my skin I removed everything said above and it still booted.
I even removed all skins in an attempt to break it but as garf says it just reloads the default skin, regardless if you want it or not.
Could it be the slyk hd skin is outdated, and I got the most up to date one by just installing it - I dunno like im only guessing but I cant make it happen, I tried v5 and it still boots just the same
