Why an android box.

Hello. I have a Panasonic Viera 50" plasma tv, which i've owned for 10 years. It serves me well and gives a good picture so see no reason to upgrade.
I presume most of you are using smart tv's so why pay for an android box. I mean, why not download the media player from the play store and watch iptv directly, or am i missing something here.

Apps tend to run better on a decent dedicated device.
Also android devices are easier to sideload 3rd party apps that aren’t available on the tv App Store.
Not everyone wants a TV that runs android OS.

Youll find running Android apps on a TV sluggish compared to running them on a decent spec Android box.

It does seem unnecessary buying a android box when you can do it on a tv, just do it on a tv and once you see how laggy and painful it is, you'll see just why people use android!

Depends on how many apps your putting on the TV.

Tivimate/IMplayer
Stremio
VPN.( If you use one)

Run no problem on androidTV or FireTv.

Most smart TVs now have USB. So you can expand the storage.

If your overloading with loads of apps then use a box.

Better performance and opens up to more apps being available, as well as non official apps.
