If you search on channel 4 for Walter presents. He hand picks in his opinion the best foreign drama/detective series from various countries. I've watched most of the all sub titles. And have saved many a dull weekend. (being an Everton fan) :ROFLMAO:
But as above, can be found on Bbci player.
 
I just finished FX's Season 1 of American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez. I thought it was awful, but meanwhile all of the American Crime Story series are excellent. The acting was so bad with Aaron Hernandez that I kept watching to see how much worse it could get over the weeks.

Thanks. I watched over one night "Berlin Wall" on all4? (non removable/unavoidable ads every 10-15 mins) I'm glad you said iplayer. THANKS AGAIN
 
Think you can buy the premium channel 4 and itvx accounts in various places. Sure somebody will post a link. Usually very cheap... Paul

What always pissed me off was when series would vanish on foreign sat when things changed but can now do catchup on various platforms

I think season 1 is definitely worth watching. I think I watched up until S3 before I had enough, but the first season was very enjoyable.

I see a lot of reviews of it in this thread but I'm avoiding reading them. I can't be the only one who likes to go into a TV show or movie completely fresh!
 
Yes but that's partly the idear of the thread. To give us an insight on wot we are about to receive. How many times have you sat down, surrounded by remote controls, and still unable to get past the first 30 minutes of a crock of shi#e. So it is helpful to know, we're we are heading befor we get the popcorn and pringles out :tearsofjoy:

I'm a ratings kinda guy 😂 less than 7 on IMDb won't get a watch! 8 will. Everything in between... Meh
