You'll have no issues with 16e and a 90cm in LondonWould a 90cm dish size be adequte to grab channels on 16e.? I currently live in South West London and hoping to do a motorised set up next year. just need to souce a big enough dish and motor.

Yh that's what I'm thinking. You'll have no issues with 16e and a 90cm in London
Read the db values from the specification they higher the better, but where thats concerned those value can be like fishermens tales.Yh that's what I'm thinking.
Now need to source a good one but not sure if brands matter. I mean what differentiates a non branded 90cm dish to an expensive branded one if they do the same thing.
Also need to work out which motor to buy for the dish to motorise it.
But you will for feeds 👍You'll have no issues with 16e and a 90cm in London
No one’s going to get their measuring tape out.I'm not allowed 110cm.
100cm is max allowed before planning permission. Surely won't be much difference between 90-100cm right?
16.e is the hardest to find and anything more than 80cm will pick that up right?
Yh but I just don't have the space on my wall for a dish that large. 90cm should be OKNo one’s going to get their measuring tape out.
Plus, there’s tons of Triax 1.1m dishes on the A40.
What do you mean for feeds? But you will for feeds 👍
When a broadcaster has cameras at a event like a football machine they beam it back to the studio or whenever they distribute if from and use a satellite to do it like 7e. You can intercept these feeds and often watch them by opening the biss feeeds. What do you mean for feeds?
Anyone know this?HI
Does 16e clear using OSCAM CLINE etc on enigma 2 receivers?
Yes it does.Anyone know this?
Its finding a good server for 16 & 19 thats the problem for e2 and why many use other boxes to do that.Another very good reason to get motorised. If it can open channels for 16.e and 19.2 on enigma2 then very worth it.
Oh right so that could be the problem. Its finding a good server for 16 & 19 thats the problem for e2 and why many use other boxes to do that.
Id say yes.Oh right so that could be the problem.
Guess I'll try it out when I get it installed.
So the viark servers perform better on 16 and 19 I take it?
Best case would be to just allow one box Viark or Ultimo to control the motor so one cable to the motor from either box, second feed off LNB to other box.Hi Peeps
I have a question i am hoping someone can answer
I am in the market for a motorised dish set up but was curious if i can get it to work the way i want it.
So i currently have a satellite dish with a UNICABLE set up which plugs into my ultimo 4k twin sat tuner and this is my main receiver to watch FTA record (store files ) and for CCCAM server for normal SKY channels for my mums indian channels she watches.
This is a fixed dish for 28.2.
Now i want to install another dish which is the motorised one where its possible to have 2 feeds. So one feed will go into the 2nd port on my ultimo 4k where i can access multiple feeds with my CCCAM server understanding it may not be great.
But the 2nd feed is for my extension where i watch my majority of the fooball sports etc. I currenly have my virgin media box there for now but when my subscription ends next year May i plan to to purchase a VIARK receiver and i can easily convert that line into a SAT feed.
But i also want the VIARK receiver to pick up all the satellites which will also be connected to the motorised dish.
Is this POSSIBLE? Or do i have to pick only one receiver that can plug into the motorised dish?
I understand that the upstairs box and downstairs box can not be on separate freq and that will never happen anyway cos its just me that controls it.
Also, what is the LNB on the DISC motor for?
Dunno if that makes sense but hoping someone can provide some input.
Thanks
OK so if I do what you're saying above.Best case would be to just allow one box Viark or Ultimo to control the motor so one cable to the motor from either box, second feed off LNB to other box.
You can buy a priority switch such as the Goobay that will allow both boxes to control the motor one at a time.
No because the motor and dish is pointed to 16eOK so if I do what you're saying above.
I can for example be in my room with my ultimo and watch something on satellite 16e for example.
Now I put my upstairs box on standby and go yo my extension. Can I switch to a channel on 19.2 for example.
Would that work?
Oh right so only one of boxes can control the motor and change frequencies? No because the motor and dish is pointed to 16e
