Vu+ Solo 2 with SkyQ LNB

Hi Guys,

Just purchased a used Vu+ Solo2 from Ebay, mainly because of familiarity, I've had one in the past, many years ago. I currently have Sky Q which I'm binning in April, will it work with my Sky Q LNB.

No, it will not work. If you have separate wires going to both devices, get a hybrid LNB. The wideband outputs will go to the Sky Q. The universal output will go to the Vu+.

Thanks for your reply, I will not require SKY Q working as well, I'll be sending the Sky Q Box back to Sky, my question was will I need to change the SKY Q LNB for a different LNB? Sorry for any confusion.

Yes you will mate

Yes, you will have to change the LNB to the older universal type. They are about £15 from Screwfix.
