VPN has hidden all of categories help.

Hi could someone help me out please?

I've just installed NORD using the fastest country ( America) because I got fed up with Sky blocking my Android box. Everything worked fine, with the movie channel running all day on IBO Player. Then, overnight, with the box switched off, I lost all of the categories, although I can still see and use the favorites.

I also have Tivimate as a back up from another seller & that is ok with all of the categories showing.

Could someone in the know help me out please? what have I done wrong?

What settings do other Nord users use?

I think you should check your IBO Player. Nord is VPN only and it's not related with your app.

If you are in UK, you should switch to EU location like France, Germany, Netherland...

If you've tried Tivimate and it's working it seems like an IBO issue not a VPN issue. As was mentioned in the previous post... make sure you're connecting to France or another country outside of the UK. Not necessary to connect to the US. Also, make sure with Nord VPN you're using wireguard or OpenVPN and not NordLynx. That does create some issues with IPTV.

I will say there seems to be a few issues the last few days with IBO Player so there could be an issue with the app itself, but that seems unlikely. I would just check all your basic settings, and start there. We're all here to help more as needed.

Thank you, I appreciate you giving time to my enquiry & will check the settings, I've changed the country to Denmark as a trial, could I ask how I ensure the VPN is set to OpenVPN

I no longer subscribe to NordVPN and have switched over to Surfshark... but it's going to be in the settings section. You could check under VPN settings/connection type (something like that). It may default to NordLynx. So you would want to turn that off and switch to Wireguard or OpenVPN like I said.
