Just installed the IP checker from extensions and ran it I got the Local address 10.100.0.2 and the external IP is 2a02:c7f:bla bla ipv6, would it be a good idea to disable ipv6 somehow? if it just said the first address I would think it was fine as thats not my real ip it's just the ipv6 that worries me now.
I don't use vix so not sure but on openatv there is option in dns settings to change dns mode
Sorry not too knowledgeable on this, Will that help with the ipv6 issue and what would you suggest the values I change the DNS to?

After you set dns and save, reboot and check that the 8.8.8.8 etc are still there.

when you install the ipk it disables ipv6
Thank you when I rebooted the box today the external IP was not an IPV4 address and both addresses on the page are not my real IP and no IPV6 to be seen the extension worked great thanks urie, so I'm feeling good that this is working, Thank you for all your and everyone else's help, I will try to give back to the community and write a little writeup of what I had to do in getting nord working with OpenVPN as some of the steps have changed it seem as of late or I just did them differently.
