Oh this waiting game is killing me, got to get my arse in gear and connect my motor dish 😂😂, what sort of strength and quality should I be getting on a mini dish in South East UK on 28.2? And what change if any would you expect on a 1m dish?

The viarks read low but you should be in the 80s quailty wise on a 1 meter dish at 28e

If thas is from a Viark sat or 4k ignore the signal it will say that when there is no signal. Quality is the reading to take note of and 61 on a 1 meter dish at 28e is poor needs an alignment chaeck.

Stick a Disecq Motor on your Meter Dish forget about 28E [ it looks to be gone and not returning anytime soon ]
you'll find plenty more Channels still working .....

42E , 39E , 23.5E , 19E , 16E , 13E , 9E , [ Discovery Networks, AFN ] 7E [ Feeds ] , 5E [ SIS Racing ] , 3E [occasional Feeds ] , 1.9E [ Bulgarian channels ]
0.8W [ Nordic channels ] , 7/8W [BEin with VIP Sub ] , 15W [ BBC Satback ] , 30W [ Meo & Movistar ]

No this is on the mini dish, just wanted to have a comparable reading before I move to my 1m dish.

I have a motor on the dish, just been lazy, my dish is on my terrace flat roof, I had to move it to lay some fake grass and never connected it back up and aligned, will do it as soon as this lovely UK rain stops :)

No this is on the mini dish, just wanted to have a comparable reading before I move to my 1m dish.

That is fine then. If you need any setup advice on the 1m motor setup it would be best to start a new thread to keep this on topic !

too many people on this forum are dependent on their boxes for 28.2 . These boxes were not designed for that as there is no guarantee that one sat will always work , time for those people to invest in a good dish and start using other sats and possibly for feeds! i have a 1.2M dish and every since i have it i rarely watch 28.2e and im located in ireland . i mostly use other sats and primarily for feeds

So long as 19.2 is still clearing I'm not too bothered, I only got my viark to watch PL footy and if it can still get it on sky de that's fine.

16e generally shows more games and UFC etc

I could probably hit 16 and 19.2 with a bit of adjustment but don't think I could be bothered with the hassle to be honest.
