IMHO
and I'm not very tech savvy
it would seem that they maybe have one server, or so, maybe two
and are trying to DDOS other servers out of use so they can claim everyone to themselves,
then, and again only IMHO, they will try and ransom everyone for as much as they can
that is why this is doomed to failure the way it is set up right now,

I'm not convinced DDT have anything, other than a 5 year old on the end of a keyboard.

Id ask how your so sure but we would be taking the thread away from Viark boxes as per page one guidelines.

Guys a quick question, when channels are dark do you power off the boxes and leave for 10 - 15 mins or just take box out of standby and channels clear.

I have to kill power to box leave it for 10-20 mins then power up and channels clear, I may have a faulty box if they don't clear via standby.

I don't see an option to reboot the box from the software only reset but that loses all channels.

this is on 28.2, 19, and 13e.

I power down the viark at the plug same thing for the router and hub.

Then power up Hub-Router-Viark in that order.

Thanks mate, just thought my box was faulty, cause it was not clearing coming out of standby.

hence the reason for powering off.

It does seem to be common that mate not clearing out of standby its annoying .

Waiting for Amazon.es to deliver my replacement Viark LIL got as far as updating the box then the remote stopped working.

FYI there is an app you can use on your phone that you as a remote control for viark boxes - well at least the sat 4k version - called g-mscreen.Worth knowing if you have any issues with your remote control unit in the future.

Have it on my phone for a few days now, but you cannot reboot the box tho, you still have to kill the power for channels to clear.

On the Sat 4K In the settings you can set standby to be standby or a low power standby (means clock on front panel) and when you power on the box reboots.

Would hinder it in my opinion. Its not like the ecm are been blocked adding a vpn would just increase the ping time to the server.

My viark sat 4k crashes when I use the G-Mscreen and then its boots again. The app is unable to fetch any channel list.
