The GTMedia Combo is the oddball as you can get a VIP sub as well which opens Bein on 7/8w if you have a big enough dish.

Just browsing I have seen the V9, V8, V8 Turbo, Combo, GTS, V8 Nova, V7SX, V8X and wondered what the difference was really.
 
Anyone in Ireland here running one of these that I can pick their brains, have been using eye pee since death of CS but broadband somehow getting worse n driving me nuts,

i have Viark Sat 4K and GT Media V8 UHD running Forever and an old Starsat2000HD Hyper running Gshare
my internet speed stays the same 940mb Down and 100mb Up .
what was your concerns regarding the Viark Sat 4K Box ??
Viark i know for certain will run just fine using less than 10mb broadband .

Looks like my Viark Sat 4k has given up. I have had a few issues shortly after purchasing where the box firmware would lose HDMI signal. I had to go into TV and re select the HDMI channel. The firmware then started to freeze and the Viark become unresponsive, I had to unplug the receiver and turn it back on. This would happen every few days and now to the point as soon as the receiver is booted it instantly becomes unresponsive, although all lights are still showing. I have had the receiver just over 2 years and just renewed in January. I have tried 3 different PSUs so i can eliminate that as being an issue. Looking at purchasing another receiver but has anyone else experienced these issues or have any suggestions i can try?

Tried loading official fw back on?
