Hi all ..set up viark sat 4k today for first time. First issue..iptv not working. And 2nd...audio on tv is way off. Still playing around with it..but losing my patience to be honest.
 
Somebody will correct me if I’m wrong but have you got digital audio set to RAW in settings/ system configurations? This should hopefully solve your audio sync issues. I presume you have purchased SP2 regarding the iptv as it’s not included with SP1. Anyhow the iptv doesn’t appear to be working at the moment on my box whether it’s in the live section or flex.So maybe server issues - again.

You should get 1 year ip telly and 2 years SP after you've followed Kegnkiwi's guide I've just checked it and it's working. Regarding audio sync set Digital Audi to RAW in System Configuration as suggested by goofy115

I use viark Sat, forgot about IPTV on the 4K using the guide,
Demo Content - VIARK: OPEN SKY AND VIP CHANNELS IN PT EMU

This change can only be applied once, there is no going back so be sure you want these special top channels because the service time will decrease

in Sky VIP mode, there is a decrease of CS service time because that service is more expensive, so the expiration of the service will be different as compared to the default PT service.

Viark Sat4K will become 24 months CS time and 12 months IPTV

Iv tinkerked with these settings for a while and always think speach is ever so slightlyout out when viewing dolby 5.1 stream

Unrar and transfer the settings file to your USB stick.
Put the stick into the V8 then
Press Menu
Select usb, highlight and click on the settings file to load it.
 
Hi just ordered a Mtmedia V8 .
Havnt had a sat box for a while.
Had some Xmas money over and thought I would see what they were like.
When you get a mars sub is it the same from all the suppliers
Sp1 ?
Just wondering as some used to be better than others .
Sorry if it's a daft question.

I was just wondering as the subs you Google or on Facebook seem to offer slightly different prices.
If they are just the same thing may as well just go with a cheaper one. ones about 35 euro seems to be standard.

Hopefully soon pick it all up.
Gone lazy since the iptv has been around .
No need for any input from myself
