Viark VIARK TYPE BOXES

Hey guys,

Started out on sat before switching to IPTV, but wouldn't mind having both at the moment. I've gone through the pages but wanted to ask if my understanding is correct?

• Viark boxes are spanish boxes which come preloaded with PT (Forever) subs
• These need to be converted to specific Sky UK subs with the first 6 months
• I can only order from Spain/EU
• I need to follow the tutorial by kegnkiwi
• Modding reduces the sub

The questions I have are:

• Do you have to have a motorised dish or does a normal dish pointed at Sky (28.2e) work?
• How do you re-sub or take out a sub to Viark/PT?
• What does SP1/SP2 mean?
• How do I know I'm within the 6 months when I buy my box?

Any help appreciated.

It will work a dish aimed at 28e as long as the dish was not previously used for skyq, if thats the case a LNB swap will be needed.
Buy a new box you dont then have to worry about the 6 month issue.

Viark Sat 4k or Viark Sat if you dont need 4k. Sub included on flashing PT firmware

I got mine from Orbitadigital in Spain.

If using WiFi with a Viark sat do you have to have an Antenna for the WiFi to work.

Yes it comes with the box.

Thanks for your reply, if the WiFi Antenna is a USB connection does this stop the USB port being used for other things.

Theres 2 usb ports

Give all your kit a reboot router etc.

Rescan tp,see how many versions you have of the cricket.

its amazing how many people come on these forums saying oh my channels are glitching etc , surely to god the first thing you would think of doing is rebooting your box and internet ... if only people used there brains..
