Was talking to owner who owns smkd in my local town this morning he was trying to sell me a mods that took 3 batteries and was a huge mod lol.
We got talking about making coils and he said it was pretty complex to do and there is mods out for make your own coils.

This is mod he was trying to sell me as he asked what mods I had so was naming them and was shocked at the mods I have 🤣🤣🤣Aimidi Cube Plus DNA 200w – SMKD

DNA and YI-Hi are the number one and two vape boards and chips. They are the best out there.
Have a look at how much a lost vape DNA is or and sx mini G class 😂

You should get in to building start off with an RDA learn how to coil and wick. Then move on to RTA's.
Use pre built coils starting off coiloligy or wotofo pre builts are quite good.
You will save loads of money in the long run.

Can building your own run at a higher wattage
 
With your own coils too when you have used them for a while.
You can pull the old cotton out depending on size of the coils lower your mod or building tab down to in between 20w and 30w and dry burn them by pulsing the fire button slowly so your coil glows out.
With ceramic tweezers gently scrape the gunk away from the coils. When clean rewick and away to go again.
If your using your own MTL coils you want your wattage to dry burn on 10w to 15w.

I know I know.
What I wrote is for dtl to re use your own built coils when they are gunked up.
The end bit I just wrote to help MTL vapers because you will burn the coil to death on 20w to 30w dry burning.
The same principle is used for installing your own coils too. You have to glow them out to get rid of hot spots from the coils.

I had the wattage turned right down and slowly kept increasing it until the coils glowed red.
Did it a couple of times and then wicked it and soaked it in juice before filling the tank.
It tastes better than any of my other tanks with ready made coils (y)

It all depends on the wire and size of coil.
Ni80 or stainless steel I use myself. ni chrome is probably my favourite though.

I'm really happy with the Digiflavor Siren V4 MTL RTA and just ordered 40 clapton coils for it for £20.
I'll try dry burning and cleaning the old coil and rewick it before wasting a brand new coil though!

I've just ordered a Geekvape Aegis X 200W Kit with Zeus Sub Ohm Tank before I run out of cash :ROFLMAO:

Hmm maybe worth an other investment there willo 🤣🤣🤣 I love my Zeus tank get some really nice flavour through it
 
What do you actually need to make your own coils as maybe worth looking into as some pre made coils don’t last
