Vaping chat- anything related to vaping

Maybe there is something wrong with my recipe but I don't know what?

Amount to Produce = 50ml

VG/PG Ratio = 30/70

Desired nicotine strength = 20

Nicotine base strength = 18mg (50/50 PG/VG)

Blackjack flavour = 10%

The nic conundrum buggers everyone up.
The nic salts you have now are 20mg.
If you want the final outcome to be 20mg you can't add anything to this.
Ergo, you can't have the end liquid 20mg but you don't need it with salts.
If you want a strong mix, use 10% flavour and then you can get it to about 10mg if you use five nic salts
Fifty ml NIC
10ml Flavour.
I'd put fifty ml of base with this to make just over 100ml

Is the nicotine salts base Pg or VG? Or is it 50/50 based?
Your premix base is 70/30 I can see so maybe that's why there's an error in the calculations.
Because your adding nicotine to the 70/30 base. Your adding more Pg..VG or both to the base. So you won't achieve 70/30 it will for example it if your base is 100% VG your ratio will adjust to say 80/20.

Yes, my base liquid is 30/70 and the nic shots are 50/50.

I wouldn't worry too much about 60/40 or 70/30 if doing such a small mix.
It makes virtually no difference to the end result unless you are doing big mixes that last you weeks.
If just doing a day or two worth of liquid it doesn't matter

I just thought I would make a small test sample in case I didn't like it.
I don't want to waste my precious nicotine in my hour of need :ROFLMAO:
So is the above small recipe okay?

Nicotine salts are a lot stronger than regular nicotine.
If vaping with a sub ohm tank I'd be wary how much I add as salts are usually used in mtl tanks in thinner juice.
It is recommended you use no higher than a 6mg in sub ohm tank as your inhaling a lot of vapour and nicotine as opposed to the tight draw from a mtl vape which is tight like a cigarette.

It'll probably make you dizzy and nauseous but it's up to you.
Nic salts give you a bigger hit than liquid nicotine.
Make a weaker mix, you can add to it after a day or so if it's not strong enough or too strong

I've got a few kits but I think my Aspire Atlantis sub-ohm (on the left) is the favourite but I use it MTL rather than DTL.

If your using mtl aim for 50/50 juice.
Higher VG content is thick while it will wick in some tanks with stock coils.
It will burn them out quicker using thinner juice will help with wicking and be a more enjoyable vape.
I use 50/50 with dtl but have a dtl tank and mod for big clouds lol

That works the other way if the juice is thin it wicks much quicker and pulls more juice through the cotton to the coil/coils.
70/30 at least in a sub ohm tank especially if your using stock coils. Your coils will last longer saving you even more money in the long run 👍

Yeah can be expensive on coils when I use normal mixed liquid I use 1.8 k3 aspire coils and tank.
Or if you have the wattage too high will burn the coils out also

Just getting back into this really but on my original Aspire Atlantis tank I have 0.5 ohm coils and the mod is set at 17 watts, 3 volts, 5.5 amps.
I still have about 8 new coils left so will be okay for a while.

Stock coils usually have a recommended wattage.
I use rebuildables myself I tend to use either pre made coils or buy wire and make my own.
The money you save in long run is great.
And also you get a better vape from rebuildables as you can use any wire or coil of your choice and tailor it to your liking.

I had a go at that before but it was a bit fiddly for my sausage fingers. Still got mesh and wire somewhere.

How long does my little cocktail have to stand before I treat myself to a lungful?
Should say on the bottle steep time.
Usually fruits are anything from shake and vape to 7days.

Desserts/fancy juices anywhere from 3 weeks to 6weeks steep time.

I've got a vanilla cream custard now that takes 6 weeks.
And a scones with cream and strawberry jam that takes 4 weeks.

Keep in dark cupboard for steep time.
