V5s scambled channels

Hi. Ive loaded my cline, updated firmware, loaded channel list from ajsat all via usb an activated line. Checjed ethrrnet connection an all working fine but im only able to view freeview :/ confussed, please help!

if you updated your firmware AFTER adding your line then it probably deleted it

also go to network settings, go to cam settings, cccam and make sure the line is active

Does Youtube give you a list of headings when you click on a category? (the clips themselves may not play though - mine don't).

Did you put your line in CCcam? If so, look in Menu > network local setting > camds setup > CCcam client setup > manage config files > CCcam.cfg. Your line should have a green tick next to it & show "online".

If it doesn't have a tick, press OK to tick it, then press the back button to save it. Restart the box.

Yeah i can view youtbe listings but wont play. Cccam all ok an says online with green tick!

reboot your internet router and your box once and check if problem still same try get test acess cline/nline from any other provide

Just realised some channels work, some dont. Can get skp sports 1,3 an 4 but not 2 :/

No problems here with AJ's list.

SS2 is on a vertical transponder. SS1,3,4 are on a horizontal transponder.

What about SS5? That's on a vertical transponder as well.

Do you use a communal dish, or have your own dish with other boxes connected to it? If so, disconnect them to see if the missing channels re-appear. If they do, you may need a "no signal fix" from Ebay.

After a lot of head scratching i've realised that I cant get any of the vertical transponder channels. This is the first time i've had this problem at home. Gen Sky box works great as it should but V5s wont pick up vertical so I can get BBC 1 but not BBC 2. It seems to me that it is the box at fault here, am I correct and is there a fix for this??

Its my dish for the one box I have attached but I do have a quad lnb with 2 shotgun cables. one to the living room and the other to the bedroom but nothing attached to that at the moment. No I cannot get SS5 so that is vertical too!

SNR drops to 5% when I land on a 'V' channel.

Doing a sat search against 28.2 it lists all the channels as ok as its scanning for them, both H and V so its finding them and recognising what channel they all are......im confused!!

If I do a blind channel scan only for FTA channels then I can get channels like BBC2 but no sky channels but then if I do a full scan I loose BBC2 an gain only Horizontal channels. S the dish and box can pick up the V channels it seems :/

All sounds a bit odd. Strange that a full scan picks up the V channels, but then can't show them.

It might be worth trying a "no signal fix" from Ebay, but that usually cures no V channels when another box is connected at the same time.

Ive got the 'no signal' fix screwed in at the back already. Im gonna take my line an give up i think. It is odd......very!!!
