Trusty Zgemma brings on Sony TV

Trusty Zgemma brings on Sony TV and vice versa. I use H2s OpenWebIf on laptop but it brings on Sony Brava TV in other room.

Does anyone know how to stop this happening. My neighbour who I helped get his used H2s up and running has same issues. He has a much older Sony Brava and is incredibly tight, short and overweight.

At 82 things sometimes get difficult. The answer was in Sync, not at all difficult when you find it . Sony, excellent picture UHD, menu needs a B at least in Physics.

Can you explain the sync bit? Give as much detail as possible ie so I can understand it.

Sounds like you set your remote to control tv is it CEC enabled ?

I use remote for their own device only.

Sync on Sony TV is under Settings / channels and inputs / manage inputs / external inputs / Bravia sync settings / sync control / off
This stops TV recognising inputs and letting them control TV . Going to watch Firestick switch off Zgemma only to also switch off Sony Screen . Perhaps
I could have managed my inputs better.
I can remember when I had to actually get up to turn off TV and press a button. Exhausting.

On another note if you have a laptop / desktop enter Zgemma via Web If and see if Sony also turns on to remove remote from the signal equation.
