Trying different apps now.

But having a mare with tivimate official at the minute. The stream kind of stops picture wise and the audio still goes in the background.

So it’s not frozen it’s still going it’s the picture that either freezes still or the screen goes green or pixelated and stays that way.

If I go back and start the channel playing again it’s fine. But goes again can be hours or days before it happens or can happen every few minutes

The provider is one of the best I’ve had and I have friends with him to who don’t have this problem

Could my Firestick 4k latest be on the way out?

I’m trying smarters glass app now. Tried xciptv all provider supplied ones

Can’t get use to the other apps tivimate is the best lol

sparkle is good seems to be better when recording streams or thats what i've found. I use both apple and android to watch so i'm using a mixture of UHF Sparkle and IPTVX
 
Cleared all caches , how much free memory on stick is there ? Is stick wired , is WiFi and internet connection good ? Are other players ok like iPlayer ot itvx . Tried re-installing it , factory reset stick ?
 
Yes everything else is good on the stick. Only have PIA, Netflix, and tivimate on there. Yes cleared cache too

Speed to stick is 260mb down and 45mb upload
 
If its a smart TV try it on there see if you can repeat the issue. Then get the same app put it on your fire stick. That will tell you normally where the issues are.

True enough loads do it on the router. But some have the wireless pods as well which are run with a app. And they don't do the settings on app
 
I had this problem with my provider and saw a few others had said the same - common denominator was Firestick 4k Max (I'd heard Cube and non-max 4k were fine, could yours be a max?)

Some people had some luck switching format from MPEG-TS to HLS but that didn't fix it for me. I never quite got to the bottom of it, but I've read a few people having the same experience with emby, kodi and the like on these devices and suggesting there's something broken in the 4k Max's hardware decoding, possibly in its reaction to minor audio errors. I couldn't say for sure, but I think the channels that caused problems for me were all in 5.1.

My solution was to switch to a Thomson box. If changing hardware isn't an option, you could see if using VLC or Vimu as an external player helps. It's a bit of a janky experience though, and you probably won't enjoy channel hopping!

Yes it’s the max.

Gone back to my AliExpress fire stick look alike. Same specs

Hate the remote and hate what it is but it’s working fine now

Seen a Reddit post about this issue and Facebook post about it it’s common alright. But nothing seems to fix it

I’ve never had this issue until recently though and I’ve have the Firestick max since day one one release
 
Sack that. Started again video paused and audio carrying on. Could leave it like this for ages and it would just carry on.

Not sure what to try now. Everything else is fine

Vod is fine

It’s just live tv

Have you tried a previous version of Tivimate 4.7.0?
I always see comments on Reddit of users quoting this is the best version to use and has the least issues for some.
