You need a ViX supported box to use Willobuild.
Best bet would be to use ATV and add your own plugins and skins.

ive loaded TM with VIX 6.2.11 from WOS site (cos i know my way round it)

where do i go from here to load WILOBUILD?

I'll experiment with ATV when more time permits, not sure about adding plugins and skins etc yet. but i will learn.

Vix do seem to drop Support on boxes their sponsor no longer sells or becuase the manufacturer no longer provider updates for VIX.

So you out of luck no VIX update are availble for your box.

OpenATV and OpenPLI are 2 image groups that do support your box

so the veiled advice is OpenATV and learn new procedures

So is there an idiots guide to use OpenATV (version?) install Wilobuild and finally learn anything else that i need to do?

All help and guidance is welcome.

Well you can install images yes ?

Most if not all youll need plugin and skins wise is available to download from the openatv server via the box.

Menu-Plugins-Green Button.

If you do go this way use the latest openATV i linked to earlier.

Yes I’ve flashed boxes and installed various images Mainly VIX, but I did do a 6.4 install with Grogbuild about 18 months ago so I could still install my current plug-in via putty and then set up epg etc and skin

Where does the Wilobuild bit come from?
I assume that is loaded separately to OpenATV? Sorry if is a silly question

Oops should have read this before replying to Ferret.
I’m willing to try a latest version of VIX to get in a position where I can learn about new apps.

Driving to Spain at 6am tomorrow via euro tunnel
So I’d like to have something that works /test

are there still boxes being produced that use the newer versions.

So my options are go OpenATV route?
Change the boxes?

Or try and find a provider that help within the tools that I have.

Off to Spain in morning so taking old Vu with 6.4 and grobuild
Start again when I get home

Hola Willo
Really screwed my Vu Solo2.
Forced to do a new Flash so lost Open 6.4 and Grogbuild.
So now I start again
I have flashed with VIX 6.5.003 from WOS site.
Can you point me at instructions for Wilobuild please ?
Otherwise I’ll have no tv for a month til I get home.
