Good Morning

I have a TM box that i would like to set up and use in Spain

at home i have a Vu solo2 , Openatv 6.4 Grogbuild and an IPTV link for footy etc. ADVISE is wooshbuild is better than Groguild please?


Ideally i would like to copy the setup for my Spanish install.
Then i can use existing sat dish for freesat etc. Internet connection for iptv will be via a Huawei router with a sim card. It isnt cost effective to have a permanent interet connection as we are only there for 6 weeks at a time.

Where can i find suitable 6.4 download for TM box ?

im pretty sure i can sort the rest

Grog and wooshbuilds are no more mate.

There is wilobuild but im not sure if the Nano is supported.

Link for you box if its the Nano 2 Super and is 7.3 if you need 6.4 let me know.

6.4 is a must unfortunately. My IPTV provider (who has been super supportive since 2017) uses a plugin that only works on PYTHON 2 (whatever that means )
i installed same setup on my Vu about a year ago and its been good so far.

I did try to find a provider who could give me a plugin for Enigma that is suitable for Python 3 ? Then i could use a later version of Openatv or VIX.
So far nobody can help. Seems they all want to do IPTV via Firestick or similar. I like the sat boxes.

got that installed ok.
I previously saved the info for installing Grogbuild on to my vu , tried to do same on TM and it doesnt load at all.
is there a reason?
 
I am not a build user, so not able to assist very much. You should be able to install the plugins and skins you want/need yourself. Do you have a list of what you want?

(ABM will be an older version that may have an issue with Freesat)
 
I'm not as clever as some.
Ive always managed by installing ready made solutions and then fine tuning to suit. I always used Openvix images in the past , but i couldnt use a Python 2 plugin. Hence 6.4 and Grogbuild.
dont really want to change my IPTV provider, but if necessary i will. And i dont particularly want to take a Firestick' as well as a sat box, to spain
 
You are repeating what you said before without saying what you actually need.

There is nothing clever/demanding about pressing the remote to make selections. You are able to paste the commands to install a build, that is more than clever enough.

OpenVIX don't build images for that receiver anymore and the plugin servers were deleted for older images. So you are going to have to use ATV. ( I sometimes build ViX images for that receiver, but it won't have a plugin server and will be on a newer python which is of no use to you)

1. What is the name of the plugin that you use for IPTV?
2. How do you install it? Do you have a script or is there an ipk?

3. Have you installed EPG importer plugin?

Grog took down his servers you won't be able to install it.
 
Quite honestly i stopped when i could'nt load Grogbuild. I was hoping to set it up a simply as my Vu after following idiot guide on Grog site.
Then i added the plugin OLDGOLD via Putty again from a decent idiot guide

havent done epg as its usually the last thing i set up

Yes IPTV is Py2 with NO possibility of it being changed.

Well if that is the case you could use the later py3 images and run something like X-streamity or Bouquets maker xtream for your IPTV.

You'd get sorted in the request thread for those 2 plugins.

Thanks for info so far everyone.

got side tracked yesterday (organising my car to drive to spain tomorrow)

Did a bit more digging this morning, and i think i am resigned to the fact that IF i want to use my Vu or TM in spain i will need a new provider for IPTV bit.
I contacted 1 or 2 last night and they were helpful. One suggested that i could use OPENVIX image and then load IPTV app from extensions. So far so good. Then i checked latest versions of VIX for Vu (Sept 23) TM( 2022). Am i correct in thinking that there is a possibility that these updates will become unsupported soon?

If Grog and Woosh aren't available any longer, is Wilobuild an option i should consider?

What is Wilobuild? what base image does it work with? I still need to use Sat tv from dish at home and in Spain and IPTV for the football options, when i select a new provider.
