Which SkyQ folder...for the Dreamplex you need to send it to the right location...for the Skin you need to install the ipk file in Post #1 and follow instructions...

hello i have a zgemma 2s running atv 5.3 i installed q skin found it great - only issue im having is after i have wathed a recording from the hdd drive attatched and exit it then change channel i get blue sreen and the box will reboot -- other skins are ok
 
It's for the dreamplex, I'm sending it to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extenstions/Skyq but every time I reboot it disappears.

Please I am having the same problem. the preview failed to display. All files are in the right locations

You putting it in the wrong location. The SkyQ folder needs to go inside to usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions/Dreamplex/skins

You must be using E2 Autobouquet with channel numbers. Try disable the channel number option and rescan to get it to work...

Thanks for your reply Chabs. Please what are the steps to disable channel number in E2 autubouquet. I am using OpenVix. Thanks

Show channel number in infobar is set to NO. But the sky preview still not working.
 
Thanks for this looks good, I'm new to this and have purchased an OPEN ATV ZGemma H2s box which hasn't been set up correctly :beg:

I've spent time on here setting up the autobouquets (originally this wasn't even on the box so I had to add it) my channels were not saved each time I turned off my box! I've had a nightmare

I'm now wanting to put a Skyq skin on my box and wonder how easy it is for a beginner? I am a techy so learn easy!

I have downloaded the picons and skyq preview and will try and follow.

What else do i need to set up my box correctly as 'things' were missing?
 
Have a look in the zgemma section Zgemma-Star for setting up your box as this is a skin not a image once you're happy with the image then look at adding this skin no point in adding skins if your box isn't setup correctly

Is it happening with other skins? Are you reflashing the same image? it could be the image that's your issue.

If it happens again with another skin post in the section of your box or in the general sat section
 
Anyone have a Dreamplex IPK file that they can share? I'm having trouble downloading from Plugins on the box, it keeps coming up with download errors, saying some file or other is missing.
 
hi could someone advise me please i have mesed up my zgemma - i flashed wooshman build again came on ok then when i restored settings it reboots and gives me the open atv screens - is there a way to pick which setting restore to choose from as i have restored settings before and everything was ok with the slyk skin on-- thanks
