Don’t know if this is the right place but has anyone attempted to develop this skin for kodi ?

Would this just be a few lines of code added to your skin? would you be able to show me how i would go about adding this? :)
 
@Chabs , i use virtual zap with your skin to get the PIP window in the info bar. All works good apart from when you go up and down channels the program name changes but the program information remains on what your currently watching. Any chance you could look at the coding of the virtual zap i'm using, to see is there anything in there that could make the information change also. I added 2 screenshots to show the program information remains the same.

Yeah...its just one code 2 add in the channel selection screen...i can send you the code if you want it and you can use xml editor app to add it...

Open toppicks.xml in the /usr/share/enigma2/skyQ folder using an xml editor or Wordpad

in the ChannelSelection screen ( name="ChannelSelection" )

find this:

<widget alphatest="blend" position="606,215" size="272,153" render="skyQPicon" source="session.CurrentService" transparent="1" zPosition="5">
<convert type="ServiceName">Reference</convert>
</widget>

just change the zPosition="5" to zPosition="8"

You can also do this to the ChannelSelectionRadio screen ( name="ChannelSelectionRadio"

Do the same thing.

The code has been there...the picon is just covered by the toppick image...

Thanks, I edited like you said using notepad++ (is this good enough?), but i still have the top pick picon there and even when i run the toppicks script a new image is displayed there. You mentioned about people not being able to get it to change because of flash memory.... should i have my picons on the flash memory? i currently have them on my HDD in my receiver.

You need to go to chabs skin plugin and select toppicks again and save and it will restart ur box again.

That should sort it...

That did the trick :) should this change when your browsing through the channels, say going up and down the pages in that screen? or only change when you select a channel? Hope i'm not wrecking your head yet :P
