i only get the the q image when changing the small screen image i mean..

Did u follow post #1 instructions? If so then you need to turn channel numbers off in E2 Autobouquets settings...

What about when you scroll channels and you see the preview of the next channel playing on the small screen?

Getting The Picons Working

Hi All
Hope someone can help me
I`ve have a zgemma h.2s box & have follow the instruction & put the skin on my box (looks great)
But I have one problem I have no picons I have download both files & transfer them to my box refresh the epg & rescan for channels
But I have no picons on epg on 401 I have sky sports but not the logo like the attach fileThere is also no images on any other channels or via the info bar

This might just be adjustment of some settings

Hope you don't mind me making this suggestion Chabs! It might just be my personal preference anyway.

Is there any way to change (or will you be changing) the volume and mute indicators on the skin? I just prefer the ones on the Kiddac Slyk skin which give a number indicator and look a bit more modern, plus when you've got any other menus on screen and you change the volume the indicator doesn't show, but with the one on the Slyk skin it still shows the volume icon on screen as well as any menus.

It's not a major thing, I just think those volume and mute icons may improve it a little.

Hope you don't mind the suggestion. I'll be keeping your SkyQ skin no matter what anyway as it's great! [emoji106]

I have zgemma H2S on VIX on SkyQ . The Zgemma H2S crashes after watching a recorded program, for instance I could be watching, recorded football highlights for a while, I then select stop and watch live tv then it crashes.

I changed the skin to Sky HD Skin and there was no issues with recording.

Can you please help as I prefer the SkyQ?

The 2 skins are always going to be compared. And there maybe elements you prefer in a particular skin. But if both skins are exactly the same, then you don't have a choice.
Why don't you just try finding the code/graphics for the elements you like and copying it over to the other skin yourself for your own personal mod. It really isn't that difficult especially for the elements you are talking about as they just float above the other elements. Guess what, they are called volume, mute, unhandledkey.
My elements for this live in q-general.xml. Chabs all live in one file skin.xml.

** note though that my skin has a custom colour called "blackglass". change any reference to this to "#4d000000". **

(don't paste screenshots of personal mods on the main threads though as it just confuses people)

Downloaded the new sky q skin and love it. I wanted the original channel selection screen so downloaded v 1.701 but I seem to get the hybrid selection where the channel info is squashed together. Is there away to alter this from within the box. I am using openvix on zgemma.

A quick one, I'm running the SkyQ skin from Wooshbuild, to get any updates to the skin do I need to delete the skin from plugins and then install it again from plugins?

When I go to Menu > Information > About, it just shows that I'm on SkyQ V1.7

Is there another area which tells me the exact version I'm running as not sure if I'm on say 1.701 etc

The versions are different layouts. Basically chose the one you want and install that version.

Hi Chabs, great skin just a couple of problems. On channel selection screen now and next is showing up only on some channels & on multiepg the timeline is not starting on the current time it's starting from a couple of hours before current time therefore some of the epg is empty. running V1.702 on a gigablue 800ue plus with crossepg to populate epg. Any help would be much appreciated!

It sounds like your epg.dat file could be broken. You can delete this and then re-scan channels

On openATV it is:

Menu -> Setup -> EPG -> Load/Save/delete -> Delete - Yes

Once done, do a crossEPG scan again and see if that fixed it - sorry if not.

Hi guys

I'm having a weird issue with plugins and software update when using this skin on Openvix.

When I go to download plugins and software updates it throws up an error "There has been an error, please try again later. If this issue persists, please check openvix (website) or world of satellite (website)"

If I change the skin back to the default ViX-Night-HD the download plugins and software updates work again. Any way to get these working without changing skins?

Ok, everything is working perfectly!! BUT!! lol...I have set the cron timers as per instructions to enable top picks but on the pictures do not change in the bouquet why is that?? they remain as per 1.701 build..
