Hi Woosh,

When the updated Skin is in WB Config Skin section, if I'm already using chabs SkyQ skin, do I just need to change skins and then change back to the SkyQ skin to get the updated one?

EDIT - Actually I presume I can just press blue button and go to the Skin download section from there...

Broc - At the minute you will have to remove the current SkyQ and then install the new one from the Skins section in plugins - Change Skin to something else though before you do this. If you wait an hour or so, it will hopefully show up in the Software updates screen and just update for you.
 
I've updated to v1.7 now! Not sure what the differences are as of yet as I'm not sure if they're listed anywhere in this thread?

I'm sure it's a big job but are the channel icons going to be updated on the info bar when you press the "ok" button or change channel? At the minute it just shows the big SkyQ icon on every channel, is that icon due to be changed?

Sorry if you've already mentioned that but I've not seen it anywhere.

If you are using E2 auto bouquet then you need to switch channel numbers off and do a rescan...

Picons will be addressed as a matter of urgency and WB Config will fix the issue ASAP.

1.700 is available as part of the normal Software update method. Or you can remove and then re-add SkyQ from the plugins screen. Any other WooshBuild questions, please use the WooshBuild support thread.

Thank you Chabs for the update and the easy method of upgrade for WooshBuild v5 users.

I have added the sh files for the top picks in cron timers but unless I'm being stupid how do I access the top picks?? cant see it as an option??

Chabs, Also Will there be anyway in future releases to have the sly prevew picons working with Channel numbers? I tried your suggestion a while back and it didn't work...

You can check if the scripts are working through telnet or wait every 1hr and see if the pictures are changing...

You can use whooshbuild if you want the picons to work with E2 channel numbers with OpenATV

Hi mate

There is a way for the preview pngs to work with E2 Auto

Remove your normal picon folder. Keep it safe in your pc or laptop.

Move the Sky Preview png picon folder folder to /hdd or usb

Then in the E2 Autobouquet menu select link picons option. Scan the E2 and this should rename all the SkyQ preview pngs with the channel number.

Then move back the SkyQ preview png picon folder from /hdd or usb back to SkyQ folder.

And get your normal picons back to /hdd or /usb

With the above what chabs suggested..it worked BUT The sky preview picons seem to exactly the same as the the picons in the /picon directory just magnified!!

when looking in what was created in /media/had/SkuQ/picon they have renamed but they seem to be shortcuts which I assume point back to /picon directory see picture for an example...Obviously the Sky Q picons should differ to the /picon directory in the InfoBar confused? lol

I Chose ServiceNamePicons option under AutoBouquetsE2, Create AutoPicon Links is that correct??

I'm almost there!!

It looks like you got two picons one in your usb stick and same in the skyq picon [emoji3]folder you need the preview picons in the sky q picon folder

This is because AB E2 can only use SNP's from one picon location. This is what I am working on. I need AB E2 to look at both the SkyQ picons and the standard picons and rename them as needed.

But, it is better to have the same picons than a massive Q looking at you I think. But yes, it is the same picon in use.
