Honest this is got me every thing is water proof etc etc but it’s mising satllites I don’t no why how long is a reed switch sposed to last for what is the tool u can buy to check them any boday no

I have reset every thing every satllite ok from the east to west stops ok at each satllite BUt it will not stop coming from the west to the east at each satllite iv checked every thing it’s got to be the reed switch on the jack

strange one ill fit a new reed switch

Normally is Reed switch but the Arm is moving even if not exactly normally .....is there any ER2 on VBox when Reed fails this will show on V-box .. you do have a V-box ??
and dish will move only step at a time if you are lucky when reed fails.
there is nothing to loose if you have a spare Reed pop it on straight switch with old one but i would doubt it will totally resolve the issue .

There will be a reset button on your V-box remote holding that for 10 sec resets your V-box and Actuator arm
i have had to do that several times its never an issue especially if you are using USALS and not Disecq 1.2 on your sat box .

what are u using on u r sattllite 1.2 or just the usals could let me no at the moment im using the 1.2 on the sat box is this right i did a reset on the vbox made no difrence

So ur not using the usual 1.2 at all then is that right could let me no
