If you can get your hands on a old nintendo wii,They are hackable and cheap and might be more suitable for your lad with all the mario games.

Autistic kids and very very demanding and will try anything at the minute.Tom is 16 next month and still watches pepper big and bob the builder. Bazza has 2 special needs to look after.

Yes the Wii was easy to hack aswell. It could even play gamecube games once it was all done.

Finding the apps and games though I struggled when I hacked my mates one a few years back.

Just told my lad that the ps3 seems hackable he wants to do it.

Loads on there but if you come across a pile of games that may suit my lad i will take them off you.A lot sell a pile of games with the console

Just going give my own views and advice in regards to hacked ps3.

If you have fat ps3 they are hackable, slim ones are tricky though. NAND version of the console is more commonly hacked than the NOR version. But you need to look up which model you have with the serial number at the back of the ps3.

Not been on some of the scenes for some time including ps3 and now PS4 is whats its all about and then eventually ps5 etc. But few places which still going today and could help you a ton imo are psx hax and psx place. The latter being the best one for help, tutorials and homebrew apps for ps3 imo.

Some of the best homebrew sites have sadly been taken down and alot of great homebrew you can get for the ps3 once hacked. This is why despite being very old now its so popular because of it being fully jailbreakable and so much can be done whereas ps4 hacked still in comparison is lacking things.

Not sure of warez sites for games or usenet ones but torrents for ps3 games are the best no doubt. If you get invite to torrentleech or IPTorrents you will get any ps3 game from there.

Lastly emulators obviously is popular for games on any platform/system be it pc or console or whatever. In terms of ps3 you can get retroarch and play the classic retro games with super mario bros being a good easy enough game and for me one of my favourites ever.

The games i had with it call of duty-borderlands-mass effect 2 -hot pursuit ect. Just to advanced for him and he is off school due to the lock down and smashing the house about.
