Yeah the loophole that they've apparently exploited is that FFP is linked to the length of a new signing's contract, which would usually be up to 5 years. Cheski have signed players on 8 year contracts which spreads the cost further than usual. I expect contract lengths for the purpose of FFP will be capped at 4 or 5 years but fair play to Chelsea for spotting the opportunity.

Finances aside, that's a huge squad rebuild and it'll be interesting to see whether Potter can get them playing to their potential next season.

I know but everybody should be on the same ridiculous Contract as the new players.
It makes a big difference when they get there big pay out at sacking!
 
The Premier League have announced investigations into alleged breaches of financial regulations by Man City.

The club will be examined between 2009/10 and 2017/18, with a focus on different campaigns re: revenues, managerial contracts, FFP and Profitability & Sustainability.

Statement:

Leeds United can confirm head coach Jesse Marsch has been relieved of his duties.

Jesse joined the club in February 2022 and was instrumental in keeping the club in the Premier League on the final day of last season.

Rene Maric, Cameron Toshack and Pierre Barrieu will also leave the club.

We would like to thank Jesse and his backroom staff for their efforts and wish them well for the future.

The process of appointing a new head coach is underway and we will continue to keep supporters up to date throughout the coming days.
 
Cracking bank holiday weekend, the scum from yorkshire drop out of the league and the plastic local fans see the foxes banished too, fingers crossed these two never ever grace the premier league again!
