We sacked him! Bit like shooting Bambi,
He came on the back of the Pearson morality issue, with not sacking his son!
We would have won that season with Pearson imo, but he was a fantastic genuine man. Who is sadly missed by the City, I hope he does well, he wasn't given enough time at Fulham
 
Man I hate the international break at times. Two weeks of that now.

Just when premier league was starting to hot up.

Newcastle set to be one of the richest clubs in the Premier league!
Would be good if they could do similar to the Chelsea and Man City models,
Massive club with huge potential if all goes through, and there fans definitely deserve some success and future.
 
Newcastle are in the black, they might not like Ashley but he ran a tight ship they are in profit.
So basically Newcastle can spend what they want for the next 2 years without worrying about FFP.
 
Can see the new ownership happening at Newcastle now. Can't see any obstacles in place.

If it goes through they will have enormous financial power behind them. But they need the right system and management behind the machine. Brucy ain't that.

Interesting times and some good news at last for Newcastle fans.

Cannot wait for Newcastle to be one of the richest clubs next season playing Peterborough United on a Tuesday Night after they get relegated lol
 
Whether or not £200m buys you much, the money will be in place for a new management structure and the whole infrastructure which won't impact the FP criteria, exciting times for toon fans
