I’ve got this possible engine failure warning coming up on my dashboard intermittently.
Renault captur 2023 hybrid.
Bought a topdon Bluetooth device and scanned. Nothing obvious.
First time it happened I turned off the ignition, went back in the house to cry, came out turned it back on and it’s gone. Drive over 200 miles and never happened again. Since however it’s done this every now and again. Then it came up with pollution system error, and a couple of times it’s started running rough and lost power. Turning off and on again it all goes away. Then the other day the engine light and spanner symbol came on so took it to local garage. All faults were cleared at this time as usual. They suggested could be spark plugs but did full diagnostic and found nothing, changed plugs anyway and charged me £230, next day possible engine failure 😞
Any ideas guys?
