The big problem with HDMI cables is cost does not equal quality.

if cables dont matter then why does heavy rain make my picture go crao its called inference , there are good hdmi cables and there are crap ones choose wisely it does make a difference noise is noise and everything on earth is subject to inference its a scientific fact.

If it rains heavy the signal from the lnb to the satellite is affected nothing to do with cables.

During a hard rain storm on the smaller dishes as moshi has said there can be not enough signal on the dish to allow for a picture. Moving my larger dish to the same position the signal returns.
