Hi all somebody today has gone onto government website and started a petition for a new general election the government have to look at and act on all petitions over 100,000 signatures at present it is at 1.2 million signatures. Please all sign just think of your grandparents, great grandparents who this 2 tier and Rachel thieves for taking away the fuel allowance to start with. Bless you all and prey for the elderly.

Signing the petition is a waste of time.

Considering they have a 400 majority, I think we all know what the outcome will be.

There'll be food shortages soon due to farmers disrupting supply.

So people have choice, starve to death or freeze to death

Last 14 years weren't perfect but I don't recall rail workers getting an £180 per week wage rise, paid for with OAP winter fuel payments

The country voted this government in and they're in until the next GE. Who knows what will happen in the coming weeks/months maybe we will have civil riots. The 4 faces of labour need to go period, general election maybe reform and lib Dems coalition no more labour or conservatives

No matter who is in government, not every one will agree with their policies. Tories would be just as bad as labour because none of them can relate to the struggling people and the only time they show interest is when there is an election coming up.

They always weaponise the "deficit" and "national debt" tropes don't they.

Once you understand that the UK govt is self-financing and the so-called "national debt" is simply the amount of £s govt has injected into the economy by buying things/spending, minus the amount of £s it's drained from the economy via taxation you can see what they are up to.

Simply, the so-called "national debt" is the net financial assets in the private sector, it's the net money supply.

Who has it and why are more relevant questions that size.

There's zero chance of anything happening at all.

At the next election, like every other one since 1979, we'll have the choice of the Red wing of the Uniparty or the Blue wing of the Uniparty.

It will make very little difference which one gains power as they will both make policy choices based on their neoliberal ideology.

Why do you vote? All youre doing is choosing who gets to steal your money and boss you around. Worst still, youre supporting the slaughter of innocent men, women and CHILDREN, which is supposedly paid for with the money they stole from you.
