like Columbus says get in contact with your line provider if you tell him its not working in your box and ask him for a N: line he may give you 1 if he supplys N: lines.
Sorry. I didn't mean to ask if they were on at the same time. What I meant was, were both boxes used under the same conditions? Were they both tried at the same location?
If the X5 was tried at your friend's house, & the F5s was tried at your house, then it might be his internet connection that's playing up.
