Just switched to vix and it shows ncam and oscam stable in /etc/tuxbox/config

So your using oscam stable is that the one you have running ?

If so transfer the configs into that folder and reboot.

I have just deleted everything in the config folder and uninstalled oscam-latest

Re installed oscam-latest

This created a folder called oscam-trunk with configs pre built

Tried starting oscam-trunk in softcam manage and received



I then copied the configs from oscam-trunk to the config folder and oscam-trunk started


Possibly with what Abu is saying it's installing softcams from the same place as atv but vix softcam manager is looking for etc/tuxbox/config

Odd how it's doing that 😂

Atv only uses etc/tuxbox/config

It does no create or use a folder in that directory

Did that and it just says it needs configuration,
Sticking to openatv, much better

Seems to be OK now,
Wierd 1 was it won't let me install oscam or ncam on vix 6.3 but it does on openatv 7.3 and runs nice

openatv 7.2 you need to install secret feed for any cams so you can install from plugins on VIX secretfeed was installed by default ( well used to be aint checked in a while )so if that is what you are trying to install it cannot because it is allready installed.

It does no create or use a folder in that directory

the ones from feed go into sub folders in etc\tuxbox\config :
Example : \etc\tuxbox\config\oscam-stable
just some of the non feed packages go into config and overwrite others

Yes, installed the secret feed via putty on 7.2
In vix, the softcams already in the menu
