This will confirm your l.n.b is switching correctly

I have installed DiSEqCTester plugin. Do you want me to do a Complete Scan or Quick one? What Settings shall I use to run the test?

Plug in your zgemma. Do not use ABM. Perform a manual scan, single satellite, FTA = no, network scan = no. Take a screenshot/picture of the options you are using and upload it please.

With ZGemma Only? The issue is with Octagon but I have started the test will post results in next few minutes

We are trying to figure out why the Zgemma is reported as working but the Octagon wont.

If the Zgemma works and scans in the correct amount of channel the issue is not down to the distribution system of the quattro lnb .

Its a process of elimination.

Zgemma is OpenATV 6.4 version is Dec 21 and Octagon is version 16-08-22. I can flash Zgemma too if that helps?

You can flash the zgemma if you want to rule out any Enigma2 issues. I doubt that is a problem.

I have a funny feeling you need to set the option to always send a diseqc command. I can't remember which menu it is in.

Just following up from your last message. I have now gone ahead and flashed the firmware of Zgemma to OpenATV 6.4 to the most latest version version available 16-08-22 and now it is the same as Octagon firmware. After that I have run the scan using same settings as you said before and still managed to find 864 channels like before which is something I cannot get on Octagon as mentioned

@Abu you are an absolute genius. Your feeling was right!! I went into tuner settings and changed settings to always send diseqc and then ran the manual search on whole satellite, FTA NO, Network Scan No and it worked.

What on earth is this setting what was this issue? I’ve been honestly trying this since yesterday and flashed OpenAtv and OpenVix like more than 20 times and spent hours but couldn’t fix this. You are an absolute life saver and I can’t thank you enough

Basically diseqc signals tell the switch in the distribution system what bands and voltage need selecting.

Have you checked to see if that option is selected on the Zgemma ?

If not it will possibly be down to the tuner in the Zgemma.
