Newbie to Plex server

Started using a Plex server yesterday and today has been offline all day.
Don't really know what to do, what to check to see if the issue is server side or on my side.
Any help is appreciated!

I'm using Plex on iOS, but yes I've reboot all I can reboot!

TK supporter means they pay a donation to the forum nothing else. You can be a supporter as well.
Vet or vip is recommended but still no guarantee.

Anybody can be a TK supporter the guide in post 1 is there for a reason to protect you from scammers. Contact ferret or wheelo they will have a word it might be something simple.

It looks like they've given you a free trial, you've paid and they've disappeared with the money. Your free trial has expired.
If they were forum supporter, there's a possibility that admin may be able to get something back but probably not your full subscription cost.
There's dozens of these join every month

Please note that you requested VOD only on Saturday and you requested a plex server two hours before you made this thread on Sunday.
Is it plex that has stopped or the VOD only sub that you asked about?

Are you sure you have sent payment to the person offering plex, considering you only asked about it at 6.30pm and posted this at 8.30pm

Hopefully it's as simple as they haven't responded yet.... I hate when people get scammed for basic stuff like this. Puts a damper on all of the folks who actually want to provide a good service and more so sucks for the consumer!!

If they followed the advice given by admin most would be fine it's these new members who join just looking to sell.

I disagree with that on a basic level. While it mitigates risk for sure, that's a pretty damning blanket statement. New members looking to sell aren't shady.... some maybe... but not all for sure.

TK is a great resource for so many things. People looking to buy, sellers, people looking for information.... all of it. People who just join the site and are looking to buy... they could be just as "shady" you know? I understand what you're trying to say... but blanket statements like that aren't super helpful either IMO.

Either way... I hope this dude gets his Plex situation resolved 100%.

I don't disagree that members who have been on this forum for years are helpful and trustworthy (or at least more trustworthy). I understand why admin put that there 100% as well. What I was saying was that not everyone who's new has ulterior and nefarious intentions. That's all
