New switch models hacked.

The average UK Household had an internet speed of 18.7Mbits/s in 2014. Meaning the average household in the UK could download a 40GB file In roughly 5 hours not

I doubt even now with fast speeds on a torrent site you would get 40 gig in 5 hours although I haven't used torrents in years.

I can easily. It’s not even that impressive to download 40GB In 5 hours. Either way I’ve just confirmed the average internet speed in 2013 and the average download time based on that speed. Just stating facts….

Good luck mate I have 200 meg and can't download 40 meg that quick. Unless a seedbox is involved.

No idea what to say to you then mate. As something is seriously wrong.

I cant speak of torrents as such even though can use them I choose to download torrents as direct links through RD and file hosts links also through RD.

Being on 200mb myself have downloaded alot of remux files between 25-35gb in around 40-45 minutes and other times even less time than that.

So not sure what issue is on your end.

Exactly. I can download from my Seedbox maxed out. Torrent sites with a decent seeded file 40GB in a couple of hours max.

Ye with private trackers need seedbox for ratio etc.

But seedboxes are a must for private trackers to really take advantage of the max speeds.

As you say torrents have to be well seeded to benefit.

No issue mate if I used a regular torrent site I would Not get 40 gig in 5 hours as I would need to use a VPN.

if I use a seedbox or RD things are much faster.

Ye from experience with VPN on have experienced slow speeds with torrents directly but also via RD.

Without VPN speeds were normal as should have been.

what i usally do is access the torrent site with the vpn,get the magnet link then turn the vpn off to get fastest speed,i do download pc games also

I don't really use torrents now mate. I use the shops for switch games. And I just use tea tv for films.
The oculus quest 2 is pretty good, she got the lad one for his birthday, plus you can use a program on the pc to download and sideload paid games, raceing games are like driveing a real car,you just look a bit of a d@@k with it on though.

You are using the seedboxes bandwidth not your own.
Mate I’m not going round in circles. My speed is consistent via a seedbox and I can download a 40GB file in less than a hour was the point I was making maxing out my Internet Speed during the duration of the download.

You’re clutching at straws. People here have confirmed that they can download a 40GB file within hours. If you can’t with 200MB broadband like @channelking said the issue is your end. As we can with lesser speed.

On a private tracker within a hour or two max. In 2013 within 5 hours no problem.

Give an example earlier today I downloaded a 38gb file which was a boxing fight 1080i

Took me just under 45 minutes and at times it can be slightly less time also.

But this was a torrent link from RD without VPN not torrent directly. But shouldnt make a difference imo.

I can DL 10gb from Usenet in about 30 mins, less if I set it to DL at off peak times.
This is on 100m connection.
I use a DL manager so can set it to get half a TB and leave it to run while I go to work or pub

Thatg

Using a seedbox I agree you will get the file in 30-35 mintues.

Using PB and UT you would be very lucky to get the same file in 5 hours.

Remember mate RD track everything. And hold the info for 2 years.
