Now, you need to sort your EPG so, press the Portal button on remote and go down to EPG Importer and press OK - As I have my ABM set to scan at 5am, I set EPG Importer to run at 5.30am at the Automatic Start Time part...

You will now need to select your import sources for the EPG - The standard ones should already be set but I find that the V*rgin EPG doesn't populate that well so I have an extra sources file which goes into ROOT > ETC > EPGIMPORT ... if you're interested in this, here it is...

Once you've put this into the folder as mentioned above, click on BLUE for Sources then scroll across to Rytec UK XMLTV (S*y) and Rytec V*rgin UK XMLTV - these should be selected by default - if you're not using the SATELLITE part of the box, you can remove the Rytec UK XMLTV one. If you carry on to the end of the list - you'll see the extra sources file we added called "Vermin UK Cable" - tick this and click GREEN to save. You can now push the YELLOW button to manually start the scan - with using all 3 of the sources files, it scans around 250k listings and takes around 10-15 minutes to do. Once it's done, your EPG should now be populated fully (or as much as possible).

I like to have more than 8 rows of channels showing in the EPG - I prefer 12 so on the screen above, you can hit MENU and scroll down to Number of rows and change this to 12 then hit GREEN to save.

You will now have 12 rows in your EPG:

Note: I did this part before running EPG Importer hence why some info is missing on the screen shot above.

This is now fully set up - this took me no more than 45 minutes from start to finish.

Remember that a lot of steps here are only relevant to me like my area and you can change things to your preferences.

Have you tried other line suppliers? if not, test a couple to rule that out... what internet are you using also?

I’m having the same problem with the virgin freezing every now an again also epg is showing all the sports an movies but not getting them all when clicking on the channel any ideas cheers mick

Can anyone help me out I’m all set up on wooshbuild now and my line is done an sorted through usb cam exporter I’m only getting a few sky sports and movies etc spoken to my provider says there solid hasn’t had any complains from anyonetheast few weeks could it be anything to do with autoboquets maker or epg provider etc they seem to work when they want sort of thing

Is anyone able to help me out I’m still not getting all the paid channels by sports few sky sports and movies etc getting some same on the kids channels have spoken to my provider who says he’s had no problems or complaints from anyone else using his sub well out off ideas really

you have to try and do the things offered by advice in this thread, how long have you had this line? - have you tried another test line?

what splitters are you using?

Hello pablo thanks for reply yes the autobouquetsmaker I’ve scanned a few times the splitter I’m using was Given to me buy virgin installer when they set up my Virgin I’m getting a few sky channels just not all them doing my head in now been a couple off weeks haven’t been able to get my head round this

Hello Ste is this really needed ? I’m having problems with my channels there all there and showing line is in an working far as I’m aware but none off my HD channels are working aswell as a few sports channels even channel 5 on the FTA doesn’t work but 1-4does most off the movies work bar a few an the HD ones don’t ABM and epg lads an works fine splitter was off virgin engineer when got virgin installed been playing with it for a couples off weeks now just can’t get it to show all channels aswell as HD cheers mick

Yes have a sub TK veteran recommended have been using him for a couple off years on an off getting most paid channels just not hd or few movie channels by sports channels an sky sports

Just flashed wooshbuild onto my h2h and i am getting an issue with channels showing as n/a in the bouquet (favourites tv) but with their full name in the ALL list.
If i select each prog in turn (show as dvb service) and go back into the bouquet they all now have the correct names but do not give any prog info now or next and in the epg they are also blank.
Hopefully screen shots will explain it better!
What have i missed?

Hi Ste I am using this build for the first time ( I have used other builds ) I have put this on a friends h2 and I am having problems getting rid of 28.2E and putting ABM for cable on I am probably looking past somthing simple but I cant suss it any chance you could point me in the right direction . The order that worked for me was factory reset, flash bioheads image, update abm config files and do all software updates. When I flashed biohead's image there were like 40+ updates and ABM was one of them. Also in abm change provider to Virg*in UK Pure.

Should sort it. Might just be an area thing cos I'm in 00013 area as well and mine only got sorted late last night so the frequency change might be a roll-out in stages.

Tuner errors have been happening over the last few months due to frequency changes, what net I'd? Also try update config files then re scan ABM.
