HD51 4K Mutant HD51 STB HD 4K Box needs updating Image Please advise ?

Can you say why you need wi fi ? Whats wrong with the powerline? Is it the location of the box ie too far from router?
Yes I am also confused why he cannot use powerline adapters and wants wifi, there is obviously a plug socket near router and reciever to power them and even if they are single sockets you can even use multiplug adaptor if needed.

I am leaving virgin and going to another company and want router to be at centre of house rather than just in front room next to TV, and rather than running a long ethernet cable about 5 metres long around and under carpet wondered if I could try the wireless usb route is it possible

I have two power lines already but they are so I can connect downstairs Asus router to Asus router used as access point in my loft/office

Ok get dongle as above but can you check this on box, menu plugins red button systemplugins go to end and you should see wireless lan. If that's installed you are good to go.

When you get dingle just plug in and do the rest. the driver will be installed with image, I tested it just now and got 102mb on 2.4 and 231 on 5ghz. with a zgemma h7s and pli9

If you get a problem you have to say exactly what you tried. I can get it working but I know the workrounds and just go slow.

Why do you need box hooked to internet??
