Download xmanager and have Spotify free

Make sure your phone is set to install from unknown sources.

Install xmanager.

Pick the Spotify for your model install it.

Start Spotify log in as normal.

Once logged in go to settings applications and Spotify and force stop it. (Close any open background windows too.

Restart the Spotify and it will be ad free

Ah it's pre installed by the manufacturer?

Just checked on mine, it will clone manufacturer installed apps.

OK, so you have locked the apps , go into settings and unlock them

You maybe able to remove using pc.
