Hi, is there an app to find which network has the strongest signal in a particular area. Im running a mobile router on a caravan site which seems to be at the limit of coverage for all network operators to the extent that on parts of the site o2 is best but on others its vodafone. EE and 3 appear to be useless.

Try mastdata.com ive used it and seems good

just gtab some payg sims from the local shop for £1 or whatever they are now.

find the best for you.

then buy an external antenna for your router.

Yeah, Ive done that in the past but was just wondering if there was an app which would identify the strongest signal.

no app will be able to give you anything other than an extimate as it will not be connected to the network of your choice in the exact location you are in.

all networks will have coverage maps. just look at the website of the network in question.

you have already narrowed it down to 2 networks, just get a sim for each on payg and try them.

an external antenna connected to a router will pull you in a lot better signal in marginal areas.

I found that three worked best at my caravan Harrogate area. I changed my Mobile router to the one in attachment.Screenshot_20250306-185420~2.png

I have had no problem with just shitty 4g as you put it.

I run my IPTV, gtmedia v8 or viark and tablets ok.
It works well with the viark, as I connect with Ethernet cable rather than USB antenna

cool story 👍 👍

nice to know you live next to the original poster on the same park but have no problems yeah?

You might be mistaken Mr Lambster.
OP didn't say he was even in the UK
My sarcasm sometimes sometimes is a little hard to understand 😂

Roughly translated means unless he lives next to the original poster it doesn't make a jot of difference how well his 4g performs for him.

We know the OP has signal issues at his location, that bob14 has no issues at his location has no bearing on the original question 🙂👍

In answer to your sarcasm lamblamb.
I say in my first post area Harrogate, as I do not no bitterman's area of the caravan.

I also mentioned about the router to say my signal improved changing from mobile broadband MIFI router from the three.
