Canelo stays long term with matchroom then tbh no other promotor will come close as they will have the biggest cash cow in boxing on their books.
Wonder how long DAZN will still be £2 a month, and how much they'll charge for ppv's.
Was watching interview other day with ifl tv and Hearn his fist show since moving is fight camp aJ has a comittment to sky for time been but it’s whether he will move to dzan or go else where think it’s the same scinario with dill Ian whyte aswell if I remember rightlyPromoter Eddie Hearn has announced he will no longer stage fights on Sky Sports and has agreed a "seismic" five-year deal with streaming platform DAZN.
Hearn's Matchroom Sport operation will begin the new deal in July, bringing to an end a long-term agreement with Sky.
It means fight nights will come as part of a DAZN subscription with no plans in the short term for pay-per-view events.
"I felt we couldn't push to the next level [with Sky] without increasing the number of pay-per-views," said Hearn.
World heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua - who is promoted by Hearn - is not part of the DAZN deal initially. Joshua has one fight remaining on his Sky Sports contract, after which his team will decide on where his fights will be shown.
Hearn ends Sky deal and moves to DAZN
They’ve already stated till July it’s £1.99 then will be going up but will still be a good price just think sky charge from £20-25 per ppv in America it’s anything from $50-$100 per ppv think it will be better all on dzan plus Hearn is putting a promotional team together aswell. If AJ goes with DAZN they'll put the prices up lol. £1.99 a month is not too bad.
Risk for aj is all that promotion he gets on sky sports news will disappear if he goes with dazn.
Will be interesting to see how it all unfolds over the next weeks/monthsNot really surprising tbh.
DAZN buying out BT sports and adding PL and other sports to their portfolio will be HUGE and over time think sky will just lose more and more rights to sports.
Shame they won't get 3pm games which was hoping DAZN would get but never will happen with that ban in the UK.

Hmmm good question in regards to whether will be a channel or just streaming platform hopefully both lolYes for sure sure and think with Dazn you will see even more sports content coming over especially with the likes of talk shows etc for boxing.
Wonder if it will remain just a subscription service on platforms and devices or whether they will launch a channel on sky and VM.
