GrogBuild Latest ABM Stand Alone ipks

Here is an updated xml file for 28.2 only. You will have to unzip it first.
System file (will get replaced with newer one during software updates) goes in /etc/tuxbox/

When fault finding reception issues, please do not use ABM or AB 28.2. They read IS tables, they do not scan like enigma2. In a hypothetical scenario, if you had a fault where you can only receive the one transponder they use to read the Si tables, they will add all the channels from the 60+ transponders when you can only receive one. An example would be someone with a Sky Q wideband LNB.

abu, they have installed OPEN 7.4 would that not have an up to date sat.xml file included? I saw the signal finder had dvb-s and should have been s2!! I have to say I have never updated a sat.xml and assumed they were updated automatically.

Simple answer is Yes.

However, 7.4 has been out for many months. People seldom ever post the date of image. So if somebody uses one from 2 months ago, they will have an xml file that is old. The xml file that the OE-a images use is updated every Saturday. So a build a run will include it. Users who perform a software update on an image that is maintained will get the update to that file too.

The signal finder and enigma2 scanning use the satellites.xml file. I only uploaded the xml file that he does not have to manually enter details on his old image. The issue @Openboxcy is experiencing is not a software one. ABM reads whatever is on the SI tables on the satellite and adds it to the receiver. Thread title should really be changed to "Unable to view/receive some channels" It is not an ABM issue.

Update:
I am finding 728 channels on an E2 scan. So he is still 100+ channels short

Thanks for the replies guys.

I've probably confused things by posting about my old H2S box.

Back to my Octagon SF8008, both tuners A and B are DVB-S2X. I have used predefined transponder to scan the transponders listed for ITV 2, 3 and 4. No channels are found when scanning and SNR etc are at 0.

I'm not really sure what else I can do at this point. Thanks

It could be one of following:
PSU fault - Try a different one
LNB fault - Change LNB (most probable)
LNB skew/placement - adjust LNB
Dish alignment issue - adjust the dish ( it will be the slightest nudge)
Loose f-plug connection - Tighten

Until you get your issue fixed, for time being, add one of DSayers mix file. Ensure that you enable the not indexed channels in ABM. Combination of both actions will create an ITV bouquet. Some channels will work some won't, but at least they are in one bouquet.

Edit:
You can also use the channel selection method an select by satellite or all, the channels will be listed alphabetically. You can the select the working one that way. Also stop using ABM until issue is fixed. Selecting "clear before scan" will ensure that any chanenls you cannot receive are removed from your receiver.
